upcycledXD began as a series of design experiments in direct response to the 2009 Toronto summer garbage strike
Waste Diversion
Since 2012, over 10 000 plastic bottles and more than 25,000 wine cork have been diverted from landfill into the upcycledXD nutrient stream.
Production Process
All products are hand-made using durable hardware and non-toxic manipulation and assembly methods.

Eric Anthony Charron
Eric is a registered architect in the province of Ontario and holds a Masters degree in Architecture from UBC in Vancouver. Eric’s philosophy engages a regenerative, ecological design approach that mutually benefits natural and manipulated environments. Most recently, he can be found working with the exciting and dynamic firm Diamond Schmitt Architects in Toronto, Canada.
