Discover the art of upcycling through our gallery

upcycledXD has been creating one-of-a-kind pieces for galleries, workspaces and cultural events for the past 10 years.  Partnering with Nuit Blanche Toronto,  award galas and street festivals, pieces are custom designed and bring delight to each event they are deployed.

upcycledXD’s first collaboration for an awards gala was in 2017 for Azure's annual awards ceremony.  Seven original Big Light chandeliers were hung above the lounge.  Built 3-feet in diameter of clear, re-purposed plastic bottles, wire armature and re-used packing foam lit with LED bulbs.

2019 Nuit Blanche Toronto installation “Plastiche Gardens” was featured as part of the One Path artist collective at the magical Spadina Museum grounds.  The groundcover took the form of plant-life made from plastic bottles illumiated by LED lights, with solar lit orbs made from relaimed POP bottles hanging from the 70 year-old Norwegian Maple tree canopy.
