upcycledXD began as a series of design experiments in direct response to the 2009 Toronto summer garbage strike
Since 2012, over 1500 plastic bottles and more than 15,000 wine cork have been diverted from landfill into the upcycledXD nutrient stream.
All products are hand-made using durable hardware and non-toxic manipulation and assembly methods.
